Standard vehicle magnets are 30mil (0.030″) magnetic material — thick enough to hold securely at highway speeds but thin enough to flex around mild body contours.
No, if used properly. Remove and clean magnets regularly (weekly) to prevent moisture buildup. Do not apply over fresh paint (wait at least 90 days). Magnets should not be used on flexible body panels or over body filler.
We can produce magnetic signs up to 24″ x 48″. Larger sizes are possible but may not adhere reliably to vehicle body panels due to surface curvature.
Yes. Rounded corners are recommended — they reduce the chance of the magnet edge lifting at speed and improve the overall appearance.
